Our swim team cannot operate without volunteers.

Each family that has a swimmer automatically becomes a volunteer member of MAFD. Everyone on the Dolphin Board is a volunteer.  It is expected that each family provide someone to work at least one stage of every meet your child attends. The success of each summer meet depends on the work and dedication of our volunteers.

Most jobs require absolutely no experience. 

SMI - Smoky Mountain Invitational

SMI is our big fundraiser and the main source of income for our team. We require every family to be a part of the set up of the SMI meet and to volunteer for at least one shift over the weekend.
